Rachel Hantman is a recent graduate of the Mind, Brain, and Education program here at HGSE where she earned her Masters in Education. Prior to HGSE, she earned her Bachelors in Science at the University of Washington in Neurobiology. Before HGSE, she worked as a research assistant in a variety of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and neuroscience labs, namely the Research in Early Autism Detection and Intervention Lab at the University of Washington, the Faja Lab at Boston Children’s Hospital, and the Biomedical Image Computing Group at the University of Washington. Her research interests include ASD, particularity its neurological underpinnings and interventions, as well early childhood development, and connecting neuroscience research with educational practices (and vice versa).
