Valerie is a graduate of the Mind, Brain and Education Masters program at HGSE. She currently works in the B.E.E. lab as a research assistant and prior to attending HGSE she worked as a middle- school teacher in Camden, New Jersey.  Her research interests include academic assessments, and mental health support in schools.
